Open Fields

Field crops are exposed to wind and therefore irrigated with sprinklers having strong jets and large droplets.
The low volume, large distance sprinklers are popular in field crops where low precipitation and uniform distribution are
critical, crops such as potatoes, carrots and greens.
Due to the frequent irrigation cycles the growers cannot move the sprinklers and they are stationed in the same place
during the entire season. The sprinklers are installed on a metal rod usually 1 m’ height (3.3 Ft) with PE tube.
and spacing varies from 5X5 m (16X16Ft) to 10X10 m (33X33 Ft).
